The purpose of this guide is to give musicians and beginners in general an opportunity to learn how to improvise. The guide should be of benefit to any standard and any age where the desire to play the blues, and subsequently jazz, is strong.

Once you have mastered one octave, you are immediately able to start playing along with the CD.

The main enphasis of this course is on using the CD and only relating to the booklet to learn the new scales, and occasionally for reference.
