The Chord CAL62 is a classically styled single-cutaway electric guitar that punches well above its price point. Built on a solid alder body with a bolt-on maple neck and bound top, it delivers the crisp, articulate tone of two single-coil pickups — equally at home in country twang, clean indie, or brash rock. A full gloss finish and chrome hardware give it a premium look straight out of the box.

Description

Classic Single-Cutaway Style, Built to Play

The Chord CAL62 is a traditionally styled slab-body electric guitar that brings timeless single-cutaway design to players who want real tone and real build quality at an accessible price. The solid alder body is edge-bound and finished in full gloss, bolted to a maple neck with a kabukalli or maple fingerboard — a construction that delivers the bright, snappy character this style of guitar is known for.

Two single-coil pickups are controlled via a master volume, tone control, and 3-way lever switch, giving you a versatile tonal palette that spans clean country twang, crisp indie jangle, and biting rock. Chrome hardware throughout — including a plate bridge and 6-a-side closed geared tuning machines — keeps the CAL62 looking sharp and staying in tune. All tonewoods are sourced from sustainable forests.

With 22 medium frets, a 650mm scale length, and a 42mm nut width, the CAL62 is comfortable to play for a wide range of hand sizes and styles. Sold individually.
