The Jones European Scrape Oboe Reed is designed for players who follow the shorter scrape style predominant in European orchestral tradition. Made from only the finest cane sourced from the Mediterranean basin, each reed is processed using advanced reed machinery and then individually tested and adjusted by hand — so you can trust the consistency from one reed to the next.

A wire is added to the tip so you can fine-tune the opening to your preference, and each reed is tuned to 442 Hz for precise intonation straight out of the box.
